The Velona scented candle is covered in raffia crocheted and embroidered by the women of a cooperative in Madagascar. A pattern of ochre and saffron yellow stripes, accented with black, gives the candle a highly decorative look that will look great in any holiday home. A raffia ruffle embroidered in black is placed at an angle on the object, reinforcing this fashion-inspired decorative perception.
Velona means «living being» in Malagasy.
