Originally from China, rhubarb is a perennial plant characterized by an unprecedented “visual-olfactory” dualism: green, acidulous and crunchy in its essence of vegetable, red, sweet and velvety when processed or cooked. A bold olfactory matrix for this fragrance that opens with pungent and slightly bitter notes of grapefruit and rhubarb, is sublimated in floral scents of cyclamen, jasmine, red berries and juniper, and becomes sensual and delicate on the finish to transmit a hint of refined white musk.
